Epic Night at The Mayfield: Parity Rules the Felt!

What a night it was! 21 Mavericks packed into The Mayfield Tavern, ready for what would turn out to be one of the most intensely competitive nights of the season. Though we were missing a few familiar faces, those in attendance were hell-bent on making sure the competition stayed fierce—and fierce it was.

Game One: Sparks Fly Early

The action kicked off with fireworks as Mike Nass and James "The Aggravator" Ramsey each took down their tables with dominant performances. Right away, it was clear: IT. WAS. ON.

Game Two: New Names, New Momentum

Ramsey stumbled in game two, opening the door for others. Rick Hoag and Maxx Atwell seized their moment, winning their tables and setting the stage for a final showdown with everything still up for grabs.

Heading into game three, six players were within two points of the lead, and half the field still had a shot at a podium finish. The tension was thick, and every chip mattered.

Final Game: A Battle to the Wire

Steve Herston rose to the occasion, doing exactly what he needed to lock up the win for the night.

But the real drama was for second and third place.
Six players were tied, forcing the organizers into a rare third-level tiebreaker before the dust finally settled:

🥉 Jim Elwart rounded out the podium in third

An absolutely epic night from start to finish!

Season Standings Shakeup

With the night's results locked in, the Spring Season standings now see a new leader:
